Let Howie Hawkins in the Debates!

Over 500,000 Iraqis have been killed since the U.S. invasion* …and the media is censoring anti-war candidates.

On Sunday morning, October 22, WABC will host a Senatorial debate between
Hillary Clinton and John Spencer, both of whom support continuing the US occupation of Iraq . The debate organizers, which include the Buffalo News and Univision as well as WABC, have refused to invite the Green Party’s Howie Hawkins, despite the fact that many New Yorkers agree with his call for immediate withdrawal from Iraq.

Join Howie Hawkins in a protest outside the debate to let the corporate media know that democracy means presenting voters with an actual choice about one of the most important issues in politics today. We’ll bring a radio so you can listen to the “debate” at 9:00 and then stick around for Howie’s press conference at 10:30.
